I always felt like Rogue/Magneto was probably one of the strangest couplings in all of Marveldom. While it's slightly more acceptable in 616 (you can argue that Magneto wasn't aged completely into an Old Man when he was turned back into an adult by Eric the Red), it's just plain strange in the AOA.
A big reason why these two hooked up is because Magneto found a way to touch Rogue. So she married a man who is old enough to be her grandpa and had his baby, whom they named after his dead friend. It's certainly a different take on a relationship.
I had some ideas floating around in my head about an AOA prequel fanfic, but they never really materialized. Regardless, I commissioned this pic and love it. Yay!

There's been a lot of "Rogue can only touch this ONE person, therefor she's going to be with them" stories in comics and I just can't buy it. I'd like there to be more to it than that. After all, if that was her only need for a relationship then she'd just wait for Leech to grow up and be with him.
Still, a very cute picture. The comic idea might not be all that much from Marvel, but this is pretty sweet.
